How to get a flight ticket refund
A flight ticket refund means cancelling the purchase (voiding the ticket) under the rules of the Aviabileti.kg online service. A ticket is considered cancelled once you receive the corresponding notice from the service.
Ticket refunds
Tickets on refundable fares can be refunded. Non-refundable tickets are cancelled with no money returned (or, depending on the carrier airline's terms, with a partial refund of service fees).
-
To refund a ticket, contact the Aviabileti.kg support team.
-
If the ticket was paid for by card, you need to pay the Aviabileti.kg service fee. The amount and the payment deadline are given in an e-mail from the support team. If you pay after the stated time, the amount will be recalculated according to the carrier airline's fares;
-
If the ticket was paid for with the Elsom e-wallet, VISA or MASTERCARD cards, or in cash on courier delivery, you confirm your consent by replying to the support team with the words “I agree” or “I confirm”, keeping the e-mail thread. This confirmation must be sent by the stated deadline; otherwise the refund amount is recalculated according to the carrier's fares.
Please note!
-
Refund requests are handled in the order they are received. Requests with the nearest departure dates take priority. Aviabileti.kg is not responsible if a request cannot be processed because of incorrect details.
-
If you need to refund a ticket shortly before departure, contact the carrier airline or write to our support team at [email protected];
-
A round-trip ticket is cancelled in full, in both directions;
Penalties and deductions for a ticket refund
When a ticket is cancelled, the passenger pays the fees and penalties set by the carrier and by Aviabileti.kg:
-
A fee of 500 KGS per ticket is withheld for processing the refund;
-
The carrier airline charges its own penalty for cancelling the flight;
-
Non-refundable fees set by the carrier.
The amount refunded for a cancelled ticket depends on the carrier's fares and the time left before departure, and is calculated after deducting penalties and service fees.
Refund time
On average, money for a ticket is returned within 7–10 days of receiving the passenger's request. The airline may shorten or extend this period.
Where and how to get your money back
-
If the ticket was paid for by bank card, refund penalties and fees are calculated and withheld automatically. The remaining amount is returned to the same card;
-
If the ticket was bought at the offices of Avia-Kombitur LLC or JAZEERA LLC, or paid for in cash on courier delivery, please contact those offices to get your money back.
How to get a refund if you are forced to cancel your flight?
If you are forced to cancel your flight, the full ticket price is refunded (or part of it if the journey was partly flown). To cancel the ticket and get your money back, contact the support team or a company office with a written request and documents confirming the unforeseen circumstances. Reasons for an involuntary cancellation include:
-
flight cancellation or delay;
-
a change to the aircraft's route;
-
schedule changes;
-
the passenger being delayed by lengthy pre-flight screening (if no prohibited substances or items were found);
-
on a journey booked as one ticket – failure to provide the connection between flights;
- errors made by the agent or the carrier when issuing the ticket;
-
death of the passenger or of a family member travelling with them on the same route;
Can I cancel a ticket that is only booked?
A booking for an e-ticket on Aviabileti.kg is cancelled automatically if it is not paid for by the stated deadline. The ticket is then considered cancelled. To find out more about cancelling an order, call +996 500 901 424
